What's scary is that in a couple of years, Iran and North Korea could be on that map too.

You have to bear in mind that there have only ever been two uses of nukes to a lethal degree.

Why would that be scary. Its no more threatening than America or Russia having them.

We don't preach "let's nuke a country off of the face of the Earth."

Besides, if we were really that scary, Iraq and Afghanistan would have been won already.

What would be left of them, anyway.

You don't understand that our countries believe in not causing civillian casualties. You must also understand that Iran and N. Korea know full well that any strike would in turn cause a retaliation, therfore wipping themselves off the map.

1) Ever heard of WikiLeaks?

2) I don't think they're that smart.

If we didn't spend everything on weapons and self-destructive technology we (as a human race) would probably be way more advanced right now. That'd be awesome.

1) Basically, a guy on the inside let out some dirty government secrets pertaining to civilian deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan. The recordings show that, well, press releases are not to be believed.

2) Iran insists on destroying Israel for... what reason? Do they even have one?

North Korea has gone so *ahem* ballistic in its endeavors for nuclear weapons that even China gets scared every so often. NK's stayed around so long because the rest of the world is afraid of what they might do in retaliation. The people suffer from malnourishment and a blind patriotism for their country, amongst other things. They hate America and yet, many of them aren't even fit to fight.

I just want to say that it's really frightening how most of the U.S.'s detonations occured in the Oregon/California region. Makes me wonder how much radiation has effected our ecosystem over here, not to mention human lives.

As far as I can recall they all take place in the Nevada desert, don't they?

I think there's something that they don't use in them, that drastically removes the amount of fallout resulting in the explosion, but I'm guessing here.

I'm not sure, all I saw were a bunch of lights flashing on the far western side on the map. But I'm guessing that this map isn't particularly accurate considering that it's from the internet.

But to my knowledge, you're right, most of them were in Nevada I believe.

Its not the point I'm trying to make. The point is that any nation that attempts a nuclear strike on another nation with nuclear capabilitys will imediatly suffer retaliation. I believe its called Mutualy Assured Destruction (M.A.D) which is brings me back to what I said before that we shouldnt fear nuclear attack as the attackers would be wary of retaliation.
